The conducted experiments validate the efficacy of the proposed MRI-guided HIFU robotic system in executing agar-silica phantom and ex vivo porcine tissue investigations with adequate positioning accuracy. Consequently, this system exhibits certain feasibility for the treatment of breast fibroadenomas.
