Cruciform anthracene building blocks are designed to construct an electroactive two-dimensional covalent organic framework (COF). Upon doping with iodine, cationic radicals are produced on the COF to exhibit structure-enhanced charge transfer properties with a low activation energy (0.13 eV) and a high Hall mobility (10.5 cm 2 V -1 s -1 ).
