Surgical therapy for the elderly patients with renal cell carcinoma.

It is controversial whether the definitive therapies are really required to the elderly with kidney cancer. This issue may be complicated because many factors, such as the definition of the elderly, function in daily life, tumor size, selected therapy, influence the decision of renal tumor management. Herein we reviewed the role of the various therapeutic options for the non-advanced renal tumors among the elderly.
