Biologic treatment of Japanese patients with inflammatory bowel disease.

Currently, biologics have been used in younger IBD patients which may give rise to the presence of an age bias in biologic treatment. Further studies are required to confirm these results and to define appropriate IBD patients who should be treated with biologic agent.
