Otoconial Degeneration After Transient Ischemia Induced by Four-Vessel Occlusion in Rats.

The current study showed that otoconial degeneration may occur even after transient ischemia of the labyrinth. This finding supports an association between cerebral ischemia and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.
