Insufficient funding has limited the size of pediatric pulmonology programs and access to important educational resources. It is critical to ensure that there is adequate funding for pediatric pulmonology fellowship programs, as insecurity further endangers the pediatric pulmonology workforce and future provision of care for children with respiratory diseases.
