Coronal plane in opportunistic screening of osteoporosis using computed tomography: comparison with axial and sagittal planes.

The coronal plane does not significantly differ from axial and sagittal planes in opportunistic screening of osteoporosis. Thus, the coronal plane as well as axial and sagittal planes can be used interchangeably in measuring bone mineral density using CT.
