Excessive daytime sleepiness in young and middle-aged Chinese adults with obstructive sleep apnea: implications for cognitive dysfunction.

Patients with moderate to severe OSA had cognitive dysfunction, particularly impairment of delayed recall. Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) was significantly associated with cognitive dysfunction in young and middle-aged patients with OSA.
