A Comparative Study of Periodontal Health Status between International and Domestic University Students in Japan.

The current study shows that international university students have poorer periodontal health than domestic students in Japan, even though the result might include many uncertainties and possible biases. To prevent severe periodontitis in the future, regular checkups and thorough oral health care are essential for the university students, especially those from foreign countries.
