Reviving immunogenic cell death upon targeting TACC3 enhances T-DM1 response in HER2-positive breast cancer.

Immunogenic cell death (ICD) is a novel mechanism of T-DM1 cytotoxicity that is lost upon T-DM1 resistance. Targeting TACC3 reinstates T-DM1-induced ICD, thus representing an attractive strategy to overcome T-DM1 resistance.
