Overall incidence of CAP among younger unvaccinated IBD patients was 3.2 per 1000 PYs. The overall associated hospitalization rates were low, however, higher amongst those exposed to immunosuppressive medications. This data will help patients and physicians make informed decisions regarding pneumococcal vaccine recommendations.
