HCMV was the leading cause of pathogen-induced PSS in the Chinese population. ddPCR was a promising tool for early detection, accurate diagnosis and therapeutic validity monitoring of pathogen-induced PSS. The high sensitivity of ddPCR could avoid repeated anterior chamber tap.
