Use of topical anaesthesia and peribulbar anaesthesia in Descemets membrane endothelial keratoplasty.

Although levels of subjective pain are lower under PBA than under TA, in selected patients without ocular comorbidities TA can achieve levels of pain acceptable for DMEK surgery.
