The effectiveness and usability of a novel mobile phone-based self-care intervention for patients with heart failure: A mixed-methods pilot study.

The app was effective in improving adherence to self-care behaviours, eHealth literacy, and disease knowledge in patients with HF. The usability evaluation results showed that the app is usable and has the potential to support HF patients in self-care. However, the app needs to be modified to improve its adoption.
