Characteristics of the pediatric population with gender incongruence attending specialized care in Cali, Colombia: an observational, descriptive and retrospective study.

Based on the cohort of our study, we can conclude that patients consult for gender-affirming treatment 3 years after the onset of gender incongruence. Anxiety and depression were higher in individuals assigned female at birth. Additionally, they presented at a later stage of sexual maturation, reducing the possibility of using puberty blockers.
