ANP will be able to address the complexity of patient and family needs and serve as cost-effective medical care coordinators for patients and families with both chronic and life-limiting illnesses, to reduce suffering and improve the quality of living and dying across the lifespan. Advanced practice nurses execute assigned authorisations by mobilising the knowledge acquired through university training. The establishment of this cadre in the healthcare system is subject to many challenges that Morocco must anticipate.
