Physical inactivity and depressive symptoms at 6 months post-transplant were predictive of subsequent adverse clinical events among ambulatory cardiothoracic transplant recipients. Future studies should examine whether improving these potentially modifiable post-transplant risk factors improves clinical outcomes.
