Tc]Tc-sestamibi SPECT/CT is an emerging tool, but further studies are required to inform its role in clinical practice. The field would benefit from standardisation of diagnostic thresholds for CT, MRI and contrast-enhanced ultrasound to facilitate future meta-analyses.
