The results indicate that ORY attenuates depressive behavior in OVX mice by upregulating ERβ-mediated hippocampal nNOS expression and activating the ERK-CREB-BDNF signaling networks. The findings suggest that ORY is a potential therapeutic agent for attenuating menopausal depression.
