Glioma-associated DCs are relevantly abundant in human IDH wildtype and mutant tumors. Glioma IDH mutations result in specifically educated, dysfunctional DCs via paracrine reprogramming of infiltrating monocytes, providing the basis for combinatorial immunotherapy concepts against IDH mutant gliomas.
