The presence of high-density IL-17A+ mast cells may serve as a valuable pathological marker for diagnosing hidradenitis suppurativa. Moreover, developing therapeutic drugs targeting IL-17A+ mast cells may provide a new approach to treating hidradenitis suppurativa.
