Repair of retinal tears with/without retinal detachment in patients with Stickler syndrome often requires multiple surgeries with combinations of cryopexy, scleral buckling, and/or vitrectomy with silicone oil tamponade. Treatment of the ocular complications arising from STL requires long-term comprehensive care.
