Mitral Valve Repair with a Semi-Rigid C-Band Annuloplasty Ring in Ischemic Mitral Regurgitation: Still a Viable Surgical Option?

Despite the adverse prognosis of IMR, the present study demonstrated the effectiveness and durability of mitral valve repair with the use of a semi-rigid ring, as a concomitant procedure to CABG, showing good results in terms of recurrence of MR and event-free survival at mid-term follow up.
