[Assessment of the structural features of the hard palate in endonasal surgery].

Thus, the data obtained by us indicate that the surgical anatomy of the hard palate is characterized by significant variability, while in some patients the THP can be reduced by 8.8 times, and the WPS increased by 2.7 times compared to normal values. Such anatomical features of the structure of the hard palate should be taken into account when planning septoplasty, since this contingent of patients has an increased risk of developing iatrogenic perforation of the nasal floor during surgical intervention on the lower floor of the nasal septum.
