Oral THC yields similar psychotomimetic and physiologic effects across sexes, but women may experience a pronounced subjective intoxicating effect. Given the escalating accessibility of cannabinoids, further research is needed to identify individual vulnerabilities and facilitate tailored interventions addressing cannabis use disorder.
