The findings from what to the authors' knowledge is the first meta-analysis performed in the rituximab era demonstrated no beneficial effect of upfront auto-HCT consolidation in patients with aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, including high-risk clinical groups (high aaIPI).
