Regardless of the subtype of fluid, anti-VEGF therapy is an effective method for treating exudative AMD. Intravitreal injections are necessary both in the presence of intra- and/or subretinal fluid, and fluid under RPE. The greatest difficulty is assessment of the fluid under the RPE.
