Histone H3 G34 Tail Mutations in Cancer: Actions in Cis and Trans to Alter Chromatin and Gene Expression.

Sequencing of cancer genomes has demonstrated that driver mutations occur in every component of the transcriptional machinery including histones that comprise the nucleosome.
