The results reveal that FAM83D may be a potential therapeutic target for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and that lower expression of FAM83D in coordination with irradiation promotes the radiosensitization of ESCC by inducing EMT through the Akt/GSK-3β/Snail signaling pathway.
