Pae alleviated ED in DMED rats, likely by inhibiting HMGB1/RAGE/NF-κB Pathway, inflammatory, apoptosis, and fibrotic activity, and moderating endothelial dysfunction. Our study provide evidence for a potential new therapy for DMED.
