Self-stigma and quality of life among people with psychosis: The protective role of religion.

The results of the study demonstrate the potential of religiosity in buffering the effects of self-stigma on quality of life. This reveals an area that can be easily targeted and addressed in treatment programs to improve outcomes beyond the clinical setting among people living with psychosis, to facilitate their recovery journey and beyond.
