Pancreatic Neoplasms Are Frighteningly Common: A Role for Immune Surveillance?

Carpenter and colleagues analyze organ donors to find that pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN), the precursor lesions of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, are highly prevalent in the average healthy adult starting from a young age.
