Population-based studies are important because they provide information on diagnosing migraine, which is a public health priority in childhood, and contribute to creating the world migraine atlas. Although additional diagnostic clues are needed to determine the prevalence of migraine in childhood, we still widely use headache screening questionnaires based on ICHD-3rd.
