Comparison of Early and Late Intervention for Necrotizing Pancreatitis: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.

These results showed the benefit of late interventions in patients with necrotizing pancreatitis in both minimally invasive procedures and open necrosectomy. Meanwhile, late minimally invasive procedures are associated with a lower rate of pancreatic fistula.
