Following microsurgical resection of SFT/HPC, CNS relapse is common and associated with age, extent of resection, and adjuvant radiation. Extraneural relapse occurs in some patients. Delayed time-to-initial relapse justifies prolonged surveillance, but optimal approaches have not been defined.
