Temporal trends and regional variations in operative vaginal deliveries in Japan: A national representative cohort study.

This study shows an increase in the use of OVD in Japan from 2014 to 2021. There are large regional differences in the choice between vacuum and forceps deliveries. These findings can help us understand the practice of OVD in Japan.
