The evidence that dyadic adaptations of financial incentive treatments were feasible and tolerable, and the positive preliminary efficacy outcomes suggest that adequately powered RCTs formally evaluating the efficacy of dyadic adaptations of financial incentive treatments for dual-smoker couples are warranted.
