Therefore, prompt diagnosis and correct intervention of respiratory complications with a multidisciplinary team including pediatric metabolic diseases specialists, pulmonologists, otorhinolaryngologists, physiotherapists, and anesthesiologists are crucial to prevent progression and irreversible damage.
