The Queensland Inpatient Diabetes Survey (QuIDS) 2019: the bedside audit of practice.

We identified several deficits in inpatient diabetes management in Queensland, including high rates of medication error and hospital-acquired harm and low rates of appropriate glycaemic control, particularly for patients treated with insulin. These deficits require attention, and ongoing evaluation of outcomes is necessary.
