Loneliness and Burden Perceived by Family Caregivers of Patients With Alzheimer Disease.

Loneliness reported by caregivers of relatives diagnosed with dementia is significantly modulated by caregiver (but not patient) characteristics. Notably, both uni- and multidimensional loneliness scales seem to be sensitive diagnostic tools.
