No difference in mitochondrial distribution is observed in human oocytes after cryopreservation.

Mitotracker Red CMXRos staining of mitochondria in oocytes did not reveal differences in mitochondrial distribution between fresh and cryopreserved oocytes at different maturity stages. Additionally, no difference was observed in the viable rates of GV and MII oocytes after slow-freezing/thawing and vitrification/warming.
