A participatory, low-intensity on-site mentoring approach to disseminating updated infant feeding guidelines improved HWs' knowledge, attitudes and confidence more than standard dissemination via a circular. Further research is required to evaluate the effectiveness, feasibility and sustainability of this approach at scale.
