Electrochemical lipolysis is a potential new noninvasive localized technique to reduce fat. The treatment method induces fat cell necrosis via in situ reduction-oxidation reaction by the electrochemical activation of physiologic fluid in the surrounding tissue. Electrochemical lipolysis is a simple, low-cost, fat-reducing treatment method without harmful side effects.
