SLE patients may have early subclinical vascular involvement leading to decreased RPCP-VD. A negative correlation between the SLEDAI-2K and pRNFLT in the temporal subsectors of all SLE patients may show an association between the disease activity and temporal pRNFL thinning. The presence of neuropsychiatric involvement may also be associated with decreased RPCP-VD and pRNFLT.
