Place of death among children from 0 to 17 years of age: A population-based study from Sweden.

Children who received support from a specialist palliative service in their own homes were notably less likely to die in a hospital setting compared to those who did not receive such support. An unplanned hospital visit increased the likelihood of hospital death.
