Predicting short-term life expectancy of patients with end-stage gastric cancer using Onodera's prognostic nutritional index.

In most patients, the O-PNI was below 40.4, 38.3, and 35.5 at 8, 4, and 1 week, respectively, before death, with 80% sensitivities. The O-PNI may be useful for predicting the short-term life expectancy in patients with end-stage gastric cancer.
