Hypereosinophilia has mostly been found in patients with heart malignancies. It is extremely uncommon in patients with cardiac myxoma; therefore, its presence may signify a distinct biological tumoral behavior with the potential to become a marker of disease activity or recurrence. The true significance of this finding is still unknown and requires further investigation.
