Ultrasound measurements of pathological and physiological skin thickness: a scoping review protocol.

Ethical approval is not required for this investigation, as published literature will form the basis of the review. The review will be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal and is expected to result in the development of the first evidence-based and consensus-based methodological guideline for skin thickness measurement by ultrasound.
