The effect of professional reintegration of stroke survivors on their quality of life: A scoping review: Professional Integration and QoL after stroke.

The results highlight the importance of investing in professional reintegration after stroke to improve survivors' QoL. Further mixed-methods longitudinal research, performed in different countries and settings, with higher, homogeneous, and comparable samples, providing a broader approach to professional reintegration and the use of specific and standardized instruments to assess subjective domains of stroke survivors' QoL, is needed.
