Enablers and barriers to nurse-facilitated geriatric teleconsultations in nursing homes: a qualitative descriptive multi-site study.

The identification of enablers and barriers in teleconsultations for nursing home residents provides insights for future research and development in telemedicine-related implementation and educational interventions in long-term care. Developing strong partnerships between telemedicine providers and nursing homes, further enhancement of nurses' telemedicine competencies and optimising digital infrastructure are warranted.
